The Apple iPad

Don’t think of the iPad as a larger version of the iPod touch, but think more in the sense of the iPod touch being a gadget that gives the user almost everything that the iPad offers but there’s a huge difference: the multitouch experience that one can get from the iPad is far beyond from what the iPod touch offers.

You will understand and appreciate what the pleasures of multitouch technology are all about once you get your hands on Apple’s newest creation, the iPad.The iPad boasts of a large screen and that just makes working on it all the more easier and delightful. It’s a whole new experience and once you get a taste of it you will definitely be hooked.

The iPad offers a user experience of the iPhone and iPod touch combined times ten!Although, the iPad is proof that the multitouch technology has grown leaps and bounds in the last couple of years, largely thanks to Apple’s innovation,  there is still a long way to go for gadgets such as the iPad, no matter how amazing and mind-blowing they might be.

The iPad borders on being a laptop and a smartphone as it certainly fulfills all the tasks required from it in order to be categorized in such a way.Currently, the iPad contains all the features of the iPod touch and the wide user interface is just an added icing on the already icing-laden cake.

However, a possible downside might be that right now Apple enthusiasts cannot get their hands on the 3G+WiFi version of the iPad as it is only available with WiFi. Users who only intend to use their iPad at home or at other WiFi providing outlets will not treat the above mentioned downside as a negative thing. But for those who like using the internet on the go might be disappointed. 3G data plans are in the pipeline for the iPad and they will set back users an additional $130.
